Earthquake News: 6.7 तीव्रता के भूकंप से पापुआ न्यू गिनी दहल उठा. इस भूकंप का केंद्र जमीन से महज 10 KM नीचे था यानी झटके काफी तेज महसूस हुए. हालांकि, अभी तक सुनामी का अलर्ट जारी नहीं किया गया है.
पापुआ न्यू गिनी में जोरदार भूकंप (Photo : USGS)Earthquake News: पापुआ न्यू गिनी के ईस्टर्न न्यू गिनी रीजन में मंगलवार को 6.7 तीव्रता का शक्तिशाली भूकंप आया जिसने पूरे इलाके को हिला दिया. यूरो-मेडिटेरेनियन सीस्मोलॉजिकल सेंटर (EMSC) के अनुसार, झटके स्थानीय समयानुसार रात 11:05 UTC पर महसूस किए गए. भूकंप का केंद्र जमीन से सिर्फ 10 किलोमीटर गहराई पर था, यानी बेहद उथला जिससे कंपन का असर और तेज महसूस हुआ.
